Food and Stress

I have been teaching corporate workshops called Integrated Health and Wellness with Cindy Neder from Majestic Living. What we discovered by going into people's jobs to bring health information to them was that so many health related conversations in the workplace are about stress. People are up against intense deadlines, they are tired from overworking themselves, they don't have the time to get proper nutrition and as a result, they reach for quick fix fuels such as coffee, sugary snacks, protein bars and soft drinks to help keep them going through their busy day. I decided to do some in depth research about how stress directly affects the body and mind and ultimately our health. For now, I am attaching a link to an article called Food and Stress published on Wholeliving.com that talks about this. If you are a busy working professional, you may want to take the time to read this article and discover if stress is having an impact on your food choices.
